Labour Room In-Charge

to oversee the functioning of the labour room, ensure high-quality maternal and neonatal care, and manage nursing staff efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to patient safety and care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall supervision and management of the labour room operations Ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care for mothers and newborns Monitor and implement standard clinical protocols and infection control practices Ensure proper documentation, records, and compliance with hospital policies Handle emergencies and support high-risk deliveries Maintain availability and functionality of labour room equipment and supplies Train and mentor junior nursing staff Participate in audits, quality improvement, and accreditation processes

Qualifications:

GNM / B.Sc Nursing / Post B.Sc Nursing

(Mandatory) Valid nursing council registration

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of clinical experience

in labour room / maternity services Prior experience as a

Labour Room In-Charge or Senior Staff Nurse

preferred

Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and team-management skills Excellent clinical and decision-making abilities Good communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of NABH/quality standards (preferred)

Salary should be based on interview performance & experience . Should be fixed at the time of interview
