Labour Officer - Shift & Manpower Management

Job Summary

We are looking for a

Labour Officer

who will be responsible for

shift management, labour handling, and daily manpower arrangement

inside the plant. The ideal candidate should have experience in labour-intensive industries such as

iron manufacturing / heavy engineering

.

Responsibilities

Plan and allocate

labour for all shifts (A/B/C or Day/Night)

as per production requirements.

Arrange and deploy manpower daily

according to workload and priority tasks. Manage

attendance, absenteeism, leaves, and overtime

of labour workforce. Coordinate

shift handovers

and maintain discipline across labour teams. Communicate with

labour contractors

to ensure timely manpower availability. Resolve

labour grievances and conflicts

to maintain a safe and productive work environment. Maintain

daily labour MIS reports

- shift strength, OT, absenteeism, and productivity. Ensure compliance with

safety guidelines and labour rules

within the factory premises. Support in

new labour onboarding, counselling, and retention activities

.

Qualifications

Graduate / Diploma (HR / Labour Welfare / IR preferred)

1-3 years of experience

in labour management and shift handling Experience in

Iron Industry / Foundry / Fabrication / Heavy Manufacturing

is an added advantage Strong communication and people-handling skills Willingness to work in a

plant-based multi-shift environment
