Job Description

As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for testing raw materials (coal) and finished activated carbon products to ensure they meet our rigorous quality standards. You will play a vital role in maintaining the consistency and efficiency of our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

Perform standardized testing on

coal and activated carbon

(e.g., Iodine value, Ash content, Moisture analysis, pH, and Particle size distribution). Maintain accurate logs of all test results and prepare daily quality reports. Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure precise measurements. Monitor production samples and alert the production team of any deviations from quality benchmarks. Ensure the laboratory environment is clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Minimum of a

Bachelor's Degree (Graduation)

. Candidates with a degree in

Chemistry, Chemical Engineering

, or a related science field are highly preferred.

Experience:

Prior experience working in a laboratory setting is required.

Knowledge:

Basic understanding of coal properties and the activated carbon manufacturing process.

Technical Skills:

Familiarity with titration, weighing scales, ovens, and furnace operations.

Attributes:

High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently.
