Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of the laboratory staff.
Ensure timely collection, processing, and reporting of test samples.
Maintain quality control and assurance procedures as per NABL/NABH standards.
Verify test results and ensure accuracy before final reporting.
Monitor usage of laboratory equipment and reagents; ensure timely calibration and maintenance.
Manage inventory and place orders for laboratory consumables and chemicals.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control standards.
Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation, reports, and audit records.
Conduct training sessions for laboratory technicians and new staff members.
Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and hospital departments for smooth workflow.
