Job Description

A lab assistant in the electroplating industry performs duties such as preparing samples and solutions, conducting routine tests for quality control (like thickness, hardness, and corrosion resistance), maintaining lab equipment and cleanliness, and documenting test results and processes

Key responsibilities

Sample and solution preparation:

Prepare samples for testing and mix chemical solutions for plating baths and other processes.

Conducting tests:

Perform routine laboratory tests to check for quality control, such as thickness measurement, adhesion, hardness, and corrosion resistance.

Equipment maintenance:

Clean, sterilize, and calibrate laboratory equipment, including microscopes, thickness testers, and pH meters.

Data management:

Record all test results and experimental activities accurately. Maintain detailed records and report findings to senior lab staff and management.

Safety and compliance:

Ensure all laboratory work complies with safety protocols, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards. This includes safe handling of chemicals and proper use of safety equipment.

Lab upkeep:

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace and equipment.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
