Job Description

We are looking for a candidate and skilled Lab Assistant the Mechanical Engineering Department for AMS College of Polytechnic to support Laboratory activities in Mechanical Engineering Department. The candidate will assist in conducting lab practical, maintaining laboratory equipment and ensure the safety in laboratory.

Key responsibilities -

Maintain and calibrate instruments and laboratory set ups. Maintain lab records, logbooks and student attendance. Ensure safety rules followed in the lab.

Required Qualifications -

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI in Mechanical Engineering with 1 year of experience. Basic knowledge of Laboratory Procedures for the Mechanical Engineering Laboratory at the Diploma Level. Ability to assist students and faculty during the Experiments. Candidates are requested to familiarize themselves about the syllabus of WBSCTEVSD at: https://sctvesd.wb.gov.in/academic/polytechnic

Preference of location

Candidates who are residents of the adjoining area connected via public transport to carry out daily to and fro journey to the college shall be given preference.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
