Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Assigning Tasks:

Receive general instructions and assign tasks to labor crews, ensuring they have the necessary tools and materials.

Supervising Work:

Monitor the progress of work, provide guidance and instructions, and address any issues that arise.

Maintaining Safety:

Enforce safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment.

Evaluating Work:

Assess the quality and quantity of work performed, providing feedback and coaching to workers.

Training and Development:

Identify training needs and provide training or guidance to improve worker skills and performance.

Communication:

Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and other relevant information.
Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:

Considerable experience in the type of work being supervised.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, equipment, and tools used in the specific industry or field.

Leadership and Management:

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:

Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and adapt to changing situations.

Safety Awareness:

Understanding of safety regulations and procedures, and the ability to enforce them.

Time Management and Organization:

Ability to manage time effectively and organize tasks.
Additional Responsibilities in Specific Industries:

Construction:

Supervising construction crews, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Production:

Overseeing daily production to ensure output meets quality and quantity targets.

Labor Supply:

Providing labor supply to clients, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
