Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and responsible

Label Applicator Machine Operator

to operate, monitor, and maintain the label applicator machine used for labelling pet food jars. The role ensures accurate label placement, adherence to quality standards, and smooth packaging operations while following safety and hygiene protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Operate the label applicator machine for applying labels on pet food jars. Set up and adjust machine parameters such as label alignment, speed, and placement. Ensure labels are correctly positioned, wrinkle-free, and properly adhered. Conduct routine checks to maintain label quality, batch accuracy, and compliance. Load label rolls and materials as per production requirements. Identify and troubleshoot minor machine issues; escalate major faults to maintenance. Maintain daily production records and report output, wastage, and downtime. Follow GMP, food safety, and hygiene standards at all times. Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and safe. Coordinate with the packaging and quality teams to meet production targets.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum

10th / 12th pass

(ITI or technical certification preferred).

1-3 years of experience

operating labeling or packaging machines (FMCG/Food industry preferred). Basic understanding of machine operation, adjustments, and preventive maintenance. Ability to read batch details, labels, and production instructions. Attention to detail and quality consciousness. Willingness to work in shifts if required.
