to assist in routine laboratory testing and quality control activities within our ethanol/distillery plant. This is an entry-level role suitable for fresh graduates who want to build hands-on experience in chemical analysis, lab equipment handling, and plant quality operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in conducting basic laboratory tests on raw materials, fermentation samples, distillation output, and final ethanol.
Support analysis of key parameters such as pH, specific gravity, Brix, total solids, and alcohol percentage.
Help in preparing reagents, standard solutions, and sample labeling.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory work area.
Assist senior chemists in operating instruments like GC, HPLC, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, and titrators (training will be provided).
Record observations, test readings, and maintain proper documentation.
Follow safety guidelines, SOPs, and quality protocols.
Support troubleshooting, calibration, and daily equipment checks under supervision.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in

, or related field.
Fresher or up to
1 year
of laboratory/quality experience preferred (internship experience accepted).
Good analytical skills, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail.
