We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Lab Technician

to join our General Laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of routine and specialized laboratory tests to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests (hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, etc.) Prepare specimens for analysis and ensure proper labeling and documentation Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment Perform quality control procedures to ensure accuracy of test results Maintain proper hygiene and safety protocols in the lab Record and analyze data, and report results accurately to medical staff Assist in inventory management of lab supplies and reagents Participate in internal and external audits and proficiency testing Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines

Requirements:

B.Sc / M.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology or Diploma in MLT (DMLT) Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting Good understanding of laboratory techniques, equipment, and procedures Familiarity with lab safety and hygiene standards Proficiency in using laboratory information systems (LIS) is an added advantage Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Good communication and teamwork abilities

Pay: ?8,086.00 - ?32,289.72 per month
