Job Title: Lab Technician - Non-Ferrous Metallurgy

Location: Near Vapi, Gujarat

Industry: Non-Ferrous Metal (Greenfield Project)

Start Date: 01 November 2025

Qualification:

B.Sc. in Chemistry / Diploma in Industrial Chemistry
3-4 years of experience in non-ferrous metallurgical testing
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct quality and process control tests across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
Perform sample collection, preparation, testing, and analysis of mechanical, chemical, and electrical properties.
Maintain accurate laboratory records, documentation, and sample traceability.
Test and analyze water, effluents, and waste products; ensure proper waste disposal per guidelines.
Coordinate with the production team and customers on quality parameters and feedback.
Develop and implement SOPs for lab equipment, ensure calibration and maintenance as per OEM standards.
Participate in internal and external audits (ISO, BIS, etc.) and maintain stock of lab consumables.
Preferred Skills:

Hands-on experience with UTM, Optical Emission Spectrometer, Oxygen Analyzer, Kelvin Double Bridge, and Surface Oxide Tester.
Willingness to work in shifts.
