Job Summary



The Laboratory Assistant supports the effective functioning of pharmacy laboratories by preparing experiments, maintaining laboratory equipment, handling chemicals, and ensuring compliance with safety and academic standards. The role assists faculty and students during practical sessions and helps maintain an organized, safe, and efficient laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities



Prepare laboratory setups for practical classes and research activities Assist faculty during laboratory experiments and demonstrations Maintain, clean, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment Prepare, label, store, and dispose of chemicals and reagents safely Ensure laboratories follow safety rules, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines Maintain laboratory records, stock registers, and inventory logs Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to authorities Support students during practical sessions while following safety norms Keep laboratories clean, organized, and ready for academic use

Required Qualifications



Diploma in

Pharmacy

or related science stream. Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical laboratory procedures. Familiarity with lab safety standards and chemical handling.

Skills & Competencies



Knowledge of pharmaceutical instruments and chemicals Ability to follow instructions accurately Basic computer skills for record keeping Teamwork and communication skills
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
