Pathologist / Lab In-Charge / Medical Superintendent
Job Summary
The Lab Technician is responsible for collecting, processing, testing, and reporting laboratory samples accurately while maintaining quality standards, safety protocols, and proper documentation.
Collect blood, urine, stool, sputum, and other specimens following standard procedures
Label, store, and transport samples correctly
Ensure patient identification and safety during sample collection
Laboratory Testing
Perform routine and special laboratory investigations
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and analysers
Prepare reagents, stains, and culture media as required
Validate test results before reporting
Quality Control & Safety
Follow NABL / ISO / hospital quality standards
Maintain infection control and biomedical waste protocols
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly quality control checks
Report equipment malfunction or test discrepancies
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain laboratory registers and electronic records
Ensure timely and accurate report generation
Maintain confidentiality of patient information
Equipment & Inventory
Clean and calibrate laboratory instruments
Maintain stock of reagents, consumables, and chemicals
Assist in audits and inspections
Qualifications
DMLT / BMLT / MLT
or equivalent qualification
Registration with appropriate council (if applicable)
Experience
Fresher or
1-3 years
of experience in a clinical laboratory preferred
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
Attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer knowledge (LIS/HIS)
Good communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions
Shift duties including night shifts and weekends
Exposure to biological and chemical hazards

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
