Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analyzing samples, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies. Responsibilities:

- Conduct laboratory tests and analyze samples according to standard operating procedures

- Prepare and process samples for testing, including centrifugation, aliquoting, and labeling

- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including microscopes, analyzers, and other instruments

- Record and report test results accurately and efficiently

- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and precision of test results

- Maintain laboratory safety and compliance with regulatory standards

- Collaborate with other laboratory personnel to ensure efficient workflow and troubleshoot issues

Requirements:

- Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Life Sciences, or related field

- Relevant laboratory experience, preferably in a clinical or research setting

- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, including microscopy, spectrophotometry, and other analytical methods

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or related field

- Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS) and other software applications

- Familiarity with quality control and quality assurance procedures
