Job Role:

We are seeking an experienced

Textile Lab Technician

to support fabric, yarn, and garment testing activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring material quality, testing accuracy, and compliance with buyer and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct physical and chemical tests on yarn, fabric, and garments as per standard test methods. Perform tests such as GSM, count, twist, strength, color fastness, shrinkage, pilling, abrasion, and dimensional stability. Prepare test samples and maintain proper identification. Record test results accurately and prepare lab reports. Calibrate and maintain laboratory testing instruments. Ensure compliance with buyer requirements and quality standards. Follow laboratory safety rules and SOPs. Support quality, production teams with test data. Maintain lab cleanliness, documentation, and test records.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma / Degree in Textile Technology or relevant field. 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a textile or garment testing laboratory. Experience in handling textile testing equipment. Basic computer knowledge for data entry and reporting. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
