Sample and equipment preparation:
Receive, prepare, and analyze samples. This also includes preparing reagents and solutions, and sterilizing and maintaining laboratory equipment.
Data recording and analysis:
Document all test results accurately in computer systems (like LIMS), analyze the data, and create reports, charts, and graphs.
Regulatory compliance:
Ensure all activities and products comply with food safety standards, industry regulations, and company protocols. This includes auditing paperwork, like HACCP records.
Collaboration:
Work with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Assist food scientists and technologists in research and development activities.
Inventory and housekeeping:
Manage and maintain laboratory supplies, keep the work area clean and organized, and ensure proper sanitation.
