Job Description

Sample Handling and Preparation:

Receiving, labeling, storing, and preparing samples (e.g., blood, tissue, chemicals, materials) for analysis.

Equipment Operation:

Operating and maintaining various laboratory instruments, such as microscopes, centrifuges, automated analyzers, and specialized equipment related to the lab's focus.

Testing and Analysis:

Performing tests and analyses according to established protocols, recording results, and ensuring the accuracy of data.

Quality Control:

Participating in quality control procedures to ensure the reliability of test results.

Data Management:

Recording, organizing, and potentially analyzing data, often using computer systems and software.

Maintenance and Safety:

Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring proper handling of chemicals and hazardous materials, and adhering to safety protocols.

Collaboration:

Working closely with scientists, researchers, or other healthcare professionals, potentially participating in research projects or assisting with experimental procedures.
