Core duties include preparing samples and reagents, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, recording and interpreting data, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and maintaining accurate laboratory records. They may also assist in developing new procedures, training new personnel, and performing quality control checks to ensure the reliability of test results.
