Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Lab Technician to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing Pathology tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. This role involves using sophisticated laboratory equipment, maintaining quality control, and ensuring accurate test results.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and specialized Pathology tests, including full blood counts, coagulation studies, and bone marrow preparations. Operate and maintain automated analysers and related laboratory equipment. Prepare blood smears and conduct manual differentials when necessary. Maintain accurate records of tests and report findings to appropriate medical staff. Adhere to quality assurance protocols and participate in internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and standards.

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Pathology laboratory setting. Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) is an asset. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ?14,000.00 - ?16,000.00 per month
