Job Overview:

We are looking for a

Lab Technician with a strong foundation in Organic Chemistry

to join our R&D and Quality Control team. The candidate will play a key role not only in analytical testing and process validation but also in

developing new applications for existing chemical and dyestuff products

. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while contributing to innovation and product development.

Note: Fresh graduates with excellent chemistry knowledge and strong fundamentals are encouraged to apply. However, if shortlisted for the interview, be prepared for technical questions to assess your conceptual understanding and practical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct

routine and non-routine laboratory analyses

of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. Assist the

R&D team in synthesis, purification, and formulation

of organic compounds and dyestuff intermediates. Participate in

research projects aimed at identifying new applications

and product improvements. Support

scale-up trials

and pilot experiments from laboratory to production scale. Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, and titration setups. Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory records, analytical reports, and calibration logs. Ensure all lab work complies with

ISO standards and safety protocols

, including proper handling and disposal of chemicals. Collaborate with production and QA teams to

correlate lab data with plant performance

and maintain consistent product quality.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Chemistry / Organic Chemistry

.

Freshers and entry-level candidates are welcome

provided they demonstrate strong theoretical and practical chemistry knowledge. Prior experience (0-3 years) in a

chemical, dyestuff, or pharmaceutical laboratory

will be an added advantage. Good understanding of

organic synthesis, reaction mechanisms, and analytical techniques.
