Job Description

u Responsible for maintaining Laboratory decorum & discipline.

u Responsible for the regular checking of the expiry dates of all Lab chemicals and reagents inside the Laboratory

u Supervise, monitor and direct various function of the lab technicians

u Plan for requirement of technicians in different shifts.

u Prepares indents for reagents and consumables.

u Maintain departmental adequate stock.

u Performs/helps in performing Quality Control (QC )as per directions of department Head.

u Maintains quality control records.

u Keep supervision over functioning of equipments and makes liaison with service engineers.

u Maintains instrument log books.

u Investigates/helps in investigating any system/technical non-conformance.

u Keeps supervision over work of other technicians.

u Give training to and educate other technicians whenever necessary.

u Receive samples and test requisition slips from phlebotomist.

u Processes the samples and performs tests as per requirement of test requisition slips and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and records results.

u Send reports to dept. head/doctor for verification and approval of recorded tests.

u Carry out re tests as per direction of lab doctor.

u Verifies physical stocks in the dept. as required

u Opening stocks & closing stocks on daily basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,665.41 - ₹12,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
