Key Responsibilities:

Metallurgical Laboratory Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the metallurgical laboratory Conduct and supervise: Chemical analysis Mechanical testing (tensile, hardness, impact, bend tests) Metallography (sample preparation, micro/macro examination) Interpret test results and prepare technical reports Ensure calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment Maintain test records, reports, and traceability documentation Ensure compliance with ASTM, ISO, ASME, EN, and customer specifications
NDT Responsibilities (ASNT Certified)

Perform and supervise NDT activities such as: Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Radiographic Testing (RT) Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) Interpret NDT results and prepare inspection reports Ensure NDT procedures comply with ASNT, ASTM, ASME, ISO, and customer requirements Develop, review, and approve NDT procedures and techniques Ensure proper handling, storage, and safety of NDT equipment
Education

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in: Metallurgy Materials Engineering Mechanical Engineering (with metallurgy experience)
Certifications

ASNT Level II or Level III

in one or more NDT methods (UT/RT/MT/PT) - Mandatory
Experience

5-10 years of experience in metallurgical testing and NDT Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, pressure vessels, piping, or structural industries preferred
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
