Job Description

Supporting Experiments and Tests:

Assisting with the setup, execution, and data collection of electrical and electronic experiments and tests as per BIS standards.

Equipment Maintenance and Calibration:

Maintaining, calibrating, and repairing laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and safety.

Troubleshooting and Repair:

Diagnosing and fixing faults in electrical and electronic equipment and systems.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintaining accurate records of experiments, tests, and equipment maintenance as per BIS.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensuring the laboratory environment adheres to safety regulations and guidelines.

Inventory and Materials Management:

Managing lab supplies and materials, including ordering and stocking.

Collaboration and Communication:

Working with other lab personnel, researchers, and instructors to support lab activities.

Training and Support:

Providing guidance and training to students or other lab users on equipment operation and safety procedures.

Software and Hardware Support:

May also be involved in maintaining computer hardware, software, and networks used in the lab.

Specific Tasks:

This can include tasks like soldering, circuit board assembly and repair, and using specialized software for design and analysis.
