Position:

Lab Technician

Location:

Umayanalloor, Kollam (1.5 km from NH66)

Required Qualifications

B.Sc MLT (BMLT) or M.Sc MLT only Valid Paramedical Council Registration is mandatory Minimum 4 years of experience as a Lab Technician Experience in a Hospital Laboratory or Clinical Laboratory of a Diagnostic Lab Chain is preferred Working knowledge of Biochemistry and Hematology analyzers is required

Job Role

Performing routine laboratory investigations and generating accurate reports Collecting, labeling, handling, and processing patient samples hygienically Recording results and maintaining proper documentation Coordinating with OPD, Pharmacy, and Clinical teams for smooth daily operations Managing patient queries politely and professionally Working under the supervision of the Lab In-Charge

Responsibilities

Following all SOPs related to sample processing, documentation, billing, and communication Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and organized laboratory environment Handling sample billing entries, basic inventory records, and report dispatch as instructed Adhering to professional conduct, grooming, and patient-care standards Reporting operational issues or irregularities promptly to the Lab In-Charge

We are an established OP Clinic with over 20 years of operations, supported by:

4 full-time OP doctors Approximately 20 staff across Clinical, Pharmacy, and Diagnostics departments An in-house Clinical Laboratory integrated with OP services

Work Schedule

6 days working 1 weekly off

Shift Timings

Morning Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Evening Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
