and be capable of handling both in-clinic laboratory work and sample collection from patients at home, when required. The technician will be responsible for specimen collection, diagnostic testing, equipment maintenance, and ensuring timely and accurate results.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect blood, urine, swabs, and other specimens from patients.
Conduct routine lab tests (e.g., CBC, blood sugar, urine analysis).
Perform phlebotomy procedures with precision.
Safely transport samples to partner labs or between branches when needed.
Maintain and calibrate lab equipment regularly.
Label, store, and document samples correctly.
Generate accurate lab reports and update patient records.
Follow all infection control, safety, and hygiene protocols.
Maintain inventory of lab materials and request replenishments in a timely manner.
Provide support for home sample collection if required.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT or equivalent).
Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinic or diagnostic lab preferred.
