Minimum 2-3 years (hospital experience preferred)

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing laboratory tests, preparing samples, operating lab equipment, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Collect and process patient samples (blood, urine, stool, swabs, etc.) following standard procedures. Conduct laboratory tests (biochemistry, hematology, microbiology, etc.) accurately and efficiently. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functioning. Maintain accurate test records, reports, and patient data in the laboratory system. Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment. Handle laboratory reagents and chemicals as per safety guidelines. Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other staff to provide timely reports. Report equipment breakdowns or any unusual test results to the in-charge immediately. Comply with NABH / ISO quality standards and hospital policies. Participate in training programs and skill development sessions.

Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma / B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT / BMLT). Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality control, and safety standards. Good communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
