We are looking for a
Lab Technician
for our Flour mill to oversee quality control and analysis of wheat, flour, and finished products.
Flour Mill experience or qualification with CFTRI (Central Food Technological Research Institute) or related fields is a must before applying for the job.
The
key responsibilities
that we search for are listed as below.
Application of knowledge gained to interpret lab test results effectively.
Conduct physical, chemical, and microbiological tests on wheat and flour.
Ensure compliance with FSSAI / ISO / internal quality standards.
Maintain records of lab results and prepare daily reports.
Monitor moisture content, gluten, ash, and other flour parameters.
Assist in audits (internal/external) and provide supporting lab records.
Conduct routine tests on wheat and flour (moisture, ash, protein, gluten, falling number, microbial load, etc.).
Coordinate with the milling team to adjust wheat blends and flour grades based on lab results.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment for flour quality testing.
Plan, budget, and monitor costs for lab setup, equipment purchase, and consumables.
