Job Summary:

Steelmax Concrete Private Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Lab Technician

to join our quality control team. The Lab Technician will be responsible for testing raw materials, preparing concrete mix designs, and ensuring that our ready-mix concrete products meet industry and customer quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform physical and chemical tests on raw materials (cement, aggregates, water, admixtures). Conduct routine and special concrete tests (slump, cube strength, air content, temperature, etc.). Prepare concrete mix designs as per project specifications and IS standards. Maintain accurate records of test results and calibrations. Assist in the quality control process for incoming materials and finished products. Calibrate laboratory equipment regularly to ensure precision. Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot quality issues. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in the laboratory. Prepare and maintain daily reports for internal audits and client submissions.

Qualifications:

Diploma/B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in concrete or construction material testing preferred. Strong understanding of IS codes related to concrete testing. Hands-on experience with lab instruments and equipment. Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
