Key Responsibilities

:

Rheometer Testing

Conduct rheometer tests for rubber compounds. Collect, analyze, and share test data with management. Coordinate with the Compounding team to ensure corrective action plans for failed batches.

Daily Compound Process Verification

Verify daily rubber compound processing activities. Prepare and share daily verification reports with management.

Monthly Testing Activities

Perform density and hardness testing of all rubber compounds as per the monthly testing plan. Maintain proper records and reports.

Sample Preparation

Arrange rubber compound molding for slab and button preparation. Ensure samples are prepared as per the approved in-house testing schedule.

In-House Testing

Conduct all required in-house tests on rubber compounds as per the monthly plan. Prepare detailed test reports and submit them to management.

Third-Party Testing

Coordinate with external laboratories for third-party testing. Arrange dispatch of rubber compound samples as per the monthly testing schedule. Track reports and ensure timely submission to management.

New Compound Development & Revisions

Handle new compound developments and revisions in existing compounds, including: Raw material batch weight calculations Master batch preparation Final batch preparation Slab and button preparation Complete testing (in-house and third-party as per customer requirements)

Final Part Testing

Execute final part testing as per the approved testing plan and customer specifications.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain proper lab records, test reports, and documentation. Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and customer requirements.

Other Assigned Tasks

Perform any other duties as assigned by management from time to time.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma / B.Sc. / B.Tech in Polymer, Rubber Technology, Chemistry, or related field. Minimum

2-5 years

of experience in a rubber testing or compounding laboratory. Strong knowledge of rubber compounding, rheometer testing, and physical testing. Familiarity with in-house and third-party testing procedures. Good documentation, reporting, and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
