Laboratory Manager Duties & Responsibilities

Operate and monitor equipment to assure the optimal performance and maintenance of all laboratory equipment

Oversees and/or performs the installation, testing, calibration, operation, and maintenance of highly sophisticated research facility and ancillary equipment

Controls equipment and supplies inventory.

Ensure compliance with NABL, ISO, and other regulatory standards.

Maintains laboratory equipment performance by establishing quality standards

Train new laboratory personnel on established laboratory procedures, scheduling, safety and equipment maintenance

Organizes purchasing of supplies and equipment by overseeing a technician to coordinate with researchers to place frequent orders for chemicals, supplies, parts, and outsourcing of samples with manufacturers

Develops and implements new experimental strategies, techniques, and procedures to improve research and analysis by staying current with the state-of-the-art in the field

Involved in the preparation and approval of SOP's, methods, protocols and reports.

Handle customer complaints and take corrective actions.

Education - DMLT /MMLT

Experience - 5+ Years - Min 2 years as a supervisor or team lead role.

CTC - Can be discussed. (depends on interview & Experience)
