:

This position is for GIGA Labs management position, part of I&T, EMCTO, leading a team of approximately 60+ employees . The team specializes in Prototyping, Electrical, Mechanical, Safety, Environmental , EMC verification testing at our labs at Bangalore. The team is responsible for V&V certification testing, surveillance testing ensuring that all Schneider Electric products offered to market meet all regulatory requirements and are of the highest quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of ~60 employees. Ensure efficient lab operations, safety compliance, and work prioritization. Collaborate with project test leaders to build a future-ready R&D roadmap. Maintain high standards of quality and manage accreditations (UL, SEMKO, DEKRA, NABL, BIS). Connect with global labs to elevate capabilities and share best practices. Drive sustainability initiatives towards a

Net Zero Lab

. Strategize team competencies and infrastructure aligned with Schneider Electric's focus. Partner with cross-functional teams: design, offer marketing, manufacturing, and standardization. Champion 5S, Kaizen, productivity, and automation initiatives. Lead the digital transformation of lab operations and testing. Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement. Ensure safe and compliant lab operations at all times.

BTech/MTech with Extensive experience in technical leadership roles Highly developed influence skills Proven experience in negotiating complex organizations Strong electrical and electronics engineering background Diverse technical background (design, manufacturing, field, operations, lab) Demonstrated experience in a laboratory environment Proven experience in standards interpretation and development of determinations Digital leadership
