Key Responsibilities



Operational Management Oversee day-to-day operations of the pathology / diagnostic laboratory. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results in line with NABL / CAP / ISO standards. Monitor sample collection, accessioning, testing, and reporting workflow to maintain TAT (Turnaround Time). Maintain inventory of reagents, consumables, and instruments to avoid stockouts. Coordinate with sales team to support new B2B tie-ups (clinics, hospitals, labs).

Quality & Compliance



Implement and monitor internal quality control (IQC) and external quality assurance (EQA) programs. Ensure compliance with NABL, ISO, and other statutory guidelines. Regularly audit lab processes and documentation to maintain accreditation standards. Monitor equipment calibration, maintenance, and vendor service schedules.

People & Team Management



Supervise and guide laboratory technicians, phlebotomists, and quality officers. Conduct training programs for staff on SOPs, safety protocols, and soft skills. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, biomedical waste disposal guidelines, and infection control. Customer Experience & Business Support Resolve escalated queries from clinicians, patients, and B2B partners regarding reports. Work with operations & sales team to improve service delivery and client satisfaction. Support expansion plans like collection centres, hospital lab management, and franchisee models from operations perspective.

Desired Candidate Profile



Graduate/Post Graduate in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT / MMLT), Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related field. 6-10 years of experience in a diagnostic laboratory, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory / managerial role. Strong knowledge of NABL accreditation process, QC/QA systems, and lab instrumentation. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to coordinate between technical staff, clinicians, and management effectively. Proficiency in LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and digital reporting platforms.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
