Qualifications:

B.Sc. MLT (Medical Laboratory Technology)

- Mandatory Minimum

10 years

of experience in a clinical diagnostic laboratory In-depth knowledge of Biochemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology, and Clinical Pathology Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role Familiarity with NABL documentation, audits, and laboratory accreditation processes

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily laboratory operations including sample collection, testing, reporting, and equipment handling. Ensure strict adherence to NABL/NABH standards and hospital quality protocols. Manage and lead a team of laboratory technologists, technicians, and phlebotomists. Review and validate test results; ensure accuracy and timely delivery of reports. Oversee preventive maintenance, calibration, and functioning of all lab equipment. Ensure stock management of reagents, chemicals, and consumables; monitor inventory levels. Maintain proper documentation, records, and compliance reports for audits and inspections. Implement and monitor internal and external quality control programs. Train new and existing lab staff in procedures, safety protocols, and latest techniques. Coordinate with doctors and clinical staff for special investigations and urgent samples. Maintain cleanliness, biosafety, and waste disposal as per biomedical waste management rules
