Job Description

Position: Lab Incharge - Foundry

Location: Howrah, West Bengal

Experience: Minimum 7 years in Foundry Laboratory Operations

Qualification: MSc or BSC in Chemistry

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage daily laboratory activities related to foundry materials and products.

Conduct chemical and physical testing of metals, sand, and other raw materials.

Maintain calibration and proper functioning of lab instruments (Spectrometer, UTM, Hardness tester, etc.).

Analyze metallurgical samples and prepare detailed test reports.

Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure process quality and defect control.

Implement quality standards (ISO / NABL / BIS) and ensure proper documentation.

Monitor raw material quality, heat treatment, and composition analysis.

Train and guide junior lab technicians.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of metallurgical testing and foundry quality control.

Hands-on experience with spectrometer and sand testing equipment.

Good analytical and reporting skills.

Familiar with quality systems and industrial safety norms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
