Job Summary:

The Lab Executive is responsible for supporting daily laboratory operations including equipment maintenance, sample handling, conducting tests, recording data, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of laboratory workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in setting up and organizing laboratory equipment and instruments. Prepare samples, reagents, and materials for testing and experiments. Conduct routine tests and experiments as per standard operating procedures (SOPs). Record and analyze test results accurately and maintain detailed documentation. Maintain laboratory cleanliness and ensure proper waste disposal. Calibrate, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance of lab instruments. Ensure all laboratory practices comply with safety guidelines and regulations. Maintain inventory of lab supplies and request replenishments when necessary. Support senior lab staff and researchers in experimental and project-based work. Assist in audits and inspections by internal or external bodies.

Qualifications:

M.Sc. / M Pharma. Prior experience in a laboratory setting (0-2 years preferred). Familiarity with basic lab equipment and procedures. Understanding of laboratory safety standards and protocols.

Skills and Competencies:

Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Good organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Problem-solving skills and initiative in identifying and resolving issues. Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory information systems (LIMS) is a plus.
