Job Summary:

The Lab Incharge will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IVF laboratory, ensuring compliance with quality standards, managing staff, maintaining equipment, and supporting fertility treatments with the highest accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Laboratory Management

Supervise and coordinate all lab activities, including embryology, andrology, and related procedures. Maintain and monitor lab equipment, instruments, and consumables to ensure smooth functioning. Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety and hygiene standards.

Clinical Support

Support doctors and embryologists during IVF, ICSI, cryopreservation, semen analysis, and embryo transfer procedures. Monitor and ensure accuracy in sample handling, labeling, and storage. Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical practices in all lab processes.

Quality Control & Compliance

Implement and monitor quality control protocols for laboratory processes. Ensure compliance with ICMR, NABH, and other regulatory standards. Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports for audits and inspections.

Team Leadership

Supervise, train, and mentor lab staff. Schedule duties, assign responsibilities, and monitor performance. Foster a culture of teamwork, discipline, and continuous learning.

Inventory & Procurement

Monitor stock of lab consumables, media, and chemicals. Coordinate with the purchase department for timely procurement. Avoid wastage and maintain cost-effective usage of resources.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's/Master's in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in IVF/clinical laboratories (embryology/andrology preferred). Strong knowledge of IVF lab techniques and equipment. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Attention to detail with high standards of accuracy.
