Key responsibilities

Maintain and manage computer lab equipment, software, and resources to ensure smooth functionality. Assist students and faculty during lab sessions, providing technical support and troubleshooting. Set up lab configurations, install software updates, and ensure hardware is operational for classes. Maintain records of lab usage, inventory, maintenance logs, and equipment status. Coordinate with academic staff for lab scheduling and preparation of sessions. Enforce lab safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized environment.
Qualifications and experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline from a recognised university. Minimum 2 years of experience in handling a computer lab, technical support, or similar role in an educational setting. Familiarity with computer hardware, basic networking, and common software applications.
Skills and attributes

Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and ability to assist users patiently. Disciplined, punctual, and detail-oriented in maintenance tasks. Ability to work collaboratively with the academic and administrative team.
