Job Summary:

The Lab Assistant is responsible for supporting teachers and students in the laboratory by preparing materials, maintaining equipment, ensuring safety standards, and assisting in practical sessions and experiments.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, set up, and organize laboratory equipment and materials for practical classes. Assist teachers and students during laboratory sessions. Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in the laboratory. Conduct routine checks, calibration, and maintenance of lab instruments. Keep inventory of chemicals, glassware, and other lab supplies. Properly label and store chemicals and reagents as per safety guidelines. Dispose of waste materials following safety and environmental protocols. Report any malfunction or shortage of materials to the concerned faculty or administrator. Assist in conducting practical exams and record keeping of experiment data.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Minimum qualification - BCA/MCA, B.Sc. / Diploma in Science, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Computer Science, etc.]

Experience:

1-5 years of relevant laboratory experience.

Skills:

Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and safety protocols. Good organizational and multitasking skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling experiments. Computer literacy is must.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
