Responsibilities:

Preparing Materials:

Preparing chemicals, solutions, and media as needed for experiments. This may involve mixing, diluting, and labeling substances.

Setting up Equipment:

Setting up lab equipment, including microscopes, Bunsen burners, and other apparatus, according to instructions from teachers or technicians.

Assisting with Experiments:

Assisting students and teachers during practical lessons by providing materials, demonstrating techniques, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Maintaining Equipment:

Cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining laboratory equipment, including glassware, instruments, and apparatus. This may involve troubleshooting minor issues and reporting larger problems to the appropriate personnel.

Maintaining Supplies:

Ensuring the lab is adequately stocked with necessary supplies, including chemicals, glassware, and other materials. This may involve inventory management and ordering supplies.

Maintaining a Safe Environment:

Ensuring the lab is a safe and clean environment, including proper storage of chemicals, disposal of hazardous waste, and adherence to safety guidelines.

Record Keeping:

Maintaining records of experiments, inventory, and other relevant information
