We are seeking a highly motivated Lab Assistant to join our Physics Department. As a Lab Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the laboratory activities of the department, ensuring the smooth functioning of the lab, and maintaining the safety protocols. You will work closely with the faculty members and students in carrying out experiments and analyzing data.

Responsibilities:

• Assist faculty members and students in carrying out experiments and analyzing data.
• Prepare laboratory equipment, materials, and samples for experiments.
• Set up and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring that they are in good working condition.
• Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment, ensuring that laboratory equipment and waste are properly stored and disposed of.
• Keep accurate records of laboratory procedures, experiments, and data.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Provide assistance to faculty members and students with laboratory projects, assignments, and reports.
• Assist in the development of laboratory experiments, procedures, and protocols.
• Attend laboratory meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and instrumentation.
• Participate in the inventory of laboratory supplies and materials and assist with ordering and restocking as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instrumentation used in Physics experiments such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, power supplies, and so on.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining laboratory equipment and conducting experiments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the faculty members, students, and other staff members.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and procedures and the ability to maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment.

Salary for all positions will be based on qualification and experience and will not
