Key Responsibilities (For ECE)

1. Lab Preparation & Setup

Prepare experiment setups before lab sessions (basic electronics, digital circuits, communication systems, microprocessors, embedded systems, etc.). Ensure all components, instruments, and tools required for experiments are available and functional. Calibrate equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, and multimeters.

2. Student Assistance

Guide students in performing experiments according to lab manuals. Help students understand equipment operation and safety rules. Provide technical support during practical sessions, project work, and mini-labs.

3. Equipment Maintenance

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of lab instruments. Report malfunctioning equipment and coordinate repairs. Maintain an inventory of components, tools, and consumables. Ensure proper storage and care of equipment after use.

4. Safety & Compliance

Enforce lab safety procedures and ensure students use equipment properly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory. Follow electrical safety and emergency protocols.

5. Administrative Support

Manage lab attendance and maintain experiment records. Assist in preparing lab manuals, experiment guides, and documentation. Help in organizing workshops, demonstrations, and technical events related to ECE.

Key Responsibilities ( For Biotech)

1. Laboratory Preparation & Setup

Prepare media, reagents, buffers, and solutions for experiments. Set up laboratory equipment such as microscopes, centrifuges, incubators, PCR machines, biosafety cabinets, etc. Sterilize glassware and instruments using autoclaves or other sterilization methods.

2. Experiment Assistance

Assist students, researchers, or faculty during practical sessions. Support experiments related to microbiology, molecular biology, cell culture, biochemistry, and genetic engineering. Maintain accurate experimental records and assist in data collection.

3. Sample Handling

Label, organize, and store biological samples following safety protocols. Assist in culturing microorganisms, maintaining cell lines, and preparing slides. Safely dispose of biological waste as per biosafety guidelines.

4. Equipment Operation & Maintenance

Perform routine maintenance of laboratory instruments. Troubleshoot basic issues with equipment and report major malfunctions. Maintain inventory of lab supplies, chemicals, and consumables.

5. Safety & Compliance

Follow and enforce biosafety levels (BSL-I/II as applicable). Ensure proper use of PPE and maintain cleanliness of the lab. Adhere to institutional, ethical, and environmental safety regulations.

6. Administrative Support

Maintain lab logs, stock registers, and equipment usage records. Assist in organizing workshops, student training sessions, and departmental events. Support documentation for audits, accreditation, and quality control.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
