The Lab Assistant will be responsible for providing technical support to the Department of Textile and Fashion Designing. This includes maintaining and organizing the lab equipment and materials, assisting students with technical issues, and ensuring that the lab is clean and safe for use.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize the lab equipment and materials
- Assist students with technical issues related to textile and fashion designing software and equipment
- Ensure that the lab is clean and safe for use
- Assist in the development of lab manuals and instructional materials
- Provide technical support for faculty members during classes and exams
- Help students with textile and fashion design projects as required
- Attend and participate in department meetings and training sessions
- A diploma or degree in Textile and Fashion Designing or a related field
- Knowledge of textile and fashion design software and equipment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working in a lab environment is preferred
