Key Responsibilities
Provide Level 3 (L3) support for Java/J2EE applications, ensuring timely resolution of
complex issues.
Analyze and optimize application performance by reviewing JVM internals, garbage
collection (GC), thread dumps, and heap dumps.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to REST APIs, Spring Boot services, and
microservices architecture.
Perform in-depth analysis of database queries and optimize application interactions
with databases (preferably MongoDB).
Collaborate with development teams to identify, root cause, and fix defects or
performance bottlenecks.
Work with AWS cloud services to support and optimize cloud-based application
environments.
Utilize Unix/Linux commands for troubleshooting, scripting, and monitoring
application environments.
Document troubleshooting steps, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and provide
recommendations for long-term fixes.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for critical application issues and escalations.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
Expertise in JVM internals, GC tuning, thread/heap dump analysis.
Good knowledge of databases, preferably MongoDB.
Experience with AWS cloud platforms and microservices-based architectures.
Proficiency in Unix/Linux commands for support and troubleshooting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and
stakeholders.
