The Senior Cyber Security Team Leader focusses upon the provision of cyber security activities, aligning global cyber security risk reduction delivery with local market business and technology priorities and to the global cyber security strategy to be implemented in the local market/s.The Senior Cyber Security Team Leader supervises a team of Cyber Security professionals who protect Vodafone from security threats and reduce risk across Vodafone�s technology infrastructure and implement security controls across Vodafone with a single design.Typically reports to the Cyber Security Manager.
- Demonstrates a good understanding of cyber security procedures and advises the technical teams on the Cyber security platforms across their full lifecycle;
- Supervises a team of Cyber Security professionals, and helps to contribute to deliver transformation of the Cyber Security capability, ongoing maintenance and any security related projects to make sure controls are effectively executed;
- Guides team in detecting and responding to cyber events, threats, security risks and vulnerabilities, in line with processes and procedures as defined within cyber security;
- Supports the team in the delivery of a consistent operating model that reduces security risk to Vodafone;
- Supports the team in the delivery of cyber security activities including improvements and projects within the market to make sure controls are effective and in place;
- Uses communication skills to promote Cyber Defence best practices across the market/s;
- Effectively interacts with colleagues across Technology and in Corporate Security, audit and risk;
- Performs other job-related duties or tasks defined by the supervisor or resulting from assigned agendas.
