Compliance onboarding has been created to ensure our clients have the relevant AML checks, to meet our regulatory obligations. It is part of the Global Compliance Team.
This role is based in Mumbai and will include collaboration with our offices in Europe and Asia
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the delivery of KYC checks for the business, working closely with the Finance Team, Sales Team and other departments.
Daily customer screening and Know Your Customer tasks, ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to.
Review and process alerts and live monitoring in accordance with procedures.
Ensure Enhanced Due Diligence procedures are followed where necessary (e.g. PEPs).
Communicate effectively and efficiently with relevant internal and external parties to obtain KYC documents.
Transaction monitoring and fraud checks.
Proactively review and work within company policies, standard operating procedures, company and legislative updates to ensure you are working in line with best practice and business risk is minimised.
Assisting with complaints handling for complaints made against the company, its members and/or its staff.
Reviewing marketing materials, presentations, and websites to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Participate in other departmental projects as assigned from time to time.
Participate in internal audit, ERM work and submitting report periodically.
Qualifications:
Graduate or professionally qualified person preferred.
Good knowledge of standard Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Common sense, a commercial outlook and the ability to exercise sound judgement.
The ability to work to tight timescales with a sense of urgency and high productivity.
The ability to take direction and work independently, prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Team player who can absorb, understand, and consider ideas and points of view
To maintain a high standard of service to internal stakeholders of varying seniority.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate to a high standard in writing and in person.
Desirable Skills
Experience in a similar role would be preferable.
Studying towards International Compliance Association (ICA) qualification or similar
Significant knowledge of anti-financial crime related matters - ABC, Fraud, MAR, Sanctions, AML/CTF, etc.
Strong knowledge of financial crime typologies, risk indicators pertaining to them and solutions to mitigate the risk.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
