Hybrid Working

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We\xe2\x80\x99re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date.

Introduction:

  • A member of the KYC (Know Your Customer) team responsible for obtaining, completing and maintaining all Regulatory KYC documentation for all clients in accordance with the Bank\'s guidelines and in compliance with UK & global financial regulations. Will be working on the Low risk client & less complex entity types.
  • To provide KYC technical support to the Corporate Bank Relationship Team.
  • To liaise directly with Client Service Managers to gather KYC information, maintaining a professional manner and delivering excellent client service while managing potentially sensitive client information.
  • To work in partnership with other Barclays Corporate teams (UK Outreach Team, Relationship Directors and Financial Crime) \xe2\x80\x93 as well as our wider business functions (Barclays Wealth, and the Corporate Bank \xe2\x80\x93 both in the UK and internationally) \xe2\x80\x93 to deliver a \xe2\x80\x98One Barclays\xe2\x80\x99 client experience.
What will you be doing?
  • Provide dedicated and robust KYC expertise for the Standard KYC Refresh process in particular to our Client Service Manager teams.
  • Proactively liaise with clients and colleagues to ensure provision of client documentation for KYC Refresh is satisfactory for case completion and attestation
  • Use a detailed and thorough understanding of the Corporate Bank\xe2\x80\x99s KYC policy & requirements to collect and analyse KYC information that has been provided by Clients or sourced from the public domain
  • Use KYC knowledge acquired during the training to analyse KYC information for low risk Corporate Clients
  • Take responsibility for maintaining a high standard of accurate, up-to date client information during all stages of the Client relationship, in order to protect the Bank and our Clients from financial crime.
  • Use strong problem solving and team working skills to resolve, high-priority cases, while ensuring the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s regulatory requirements are always met.
  • Ensure all cases approaching or past 90 days\xe2\x80\x99 cycle time have been discussed line manager and appropriate actions taken for swift closure
  • Use strong communication skills to interact professionally with our Client Servicing Managers, UK Outreach team and Internal stakeholders, supporting the Corporate Relationship Teams in delivering excellent Client service
  • Use strong time management skills to complete, business critical tasks within pressured timescales \xe2\x80\x93 ensuring the KYC Team meets all target SLA\xe2\x80\x99s, and providing a quick and efficient service to Clients.
  • Use a high level of attention to detail to complete tasks \xe2\x80\x98right first time, every time\xe2\x80\x99, ensuring the KYC Team\xe2\x80\x99s \xe2\x80\x98right first time\xe2\x80\x99 targets are met for all tasks.
Teamwork
  • Work closely with other KYC Managers and the UK Outreach Team to support KYC Leadership in delivering an outstanding performance across the team, demonstrating excellent behaviours and positively embracing and contributing to the KYC change programme.
  • Support and advise our Client Service Manager teams on all matters relating to KYC refresh, enhancing & developing their knowledge base and to provide an excellent client experience
  • Contribute to a supportive and proactive working culture by sharing knowledge and expertise with other team members and providing training to colleagues when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other Barclays teams & functions to consistently deliver an excellent \xe2\x80\x98One Barclays\xe2\x80\x99 Client experience.
