Job Description

Responsibilities

Assist in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Support the implementation and optimization of Kubernetes deployments for performance and reliability. Help automate application deployments and configuration management using Helm charts, GitOps workflows, and CI/CD pipelines. Monitor Kubernetes environments and assist in troubleshooting issues related to containers, networking, and resource usage. Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and SREs to support application deployment and integration with Kubernetes. Follow established best practices for Kubernetes deployment, security, and operations. Maintain documentation related to Kubernetes configurations and deployment processes. Continuously learn and stay updated with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.

Requirements

Basic understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals (pods, deployments, services, namespaces, volumes). Hands-on experience or academic/project exposure to Kubernetes and Docker. Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Basic knowledge of scripting using Bash or Python. Understanding of CI/CD concepts and version control systems like Git. Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced environment. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team. Clear communication and documentation skills.
