Job Description

A KST (Kitchen Stewarding) Supervisor manages kitchen cleanliness, staff, supplies, and operations, ensuring hygiene standards, smooth dishwashing, and food safety compliance while directing stewarding teams for efficient back-of-house support in hotels or food services. Key duties include staff scheduling, training, inventory control, equipment maintenance, waste management, and enforcing safety protocols, bridging team members with management. Key Responsibilities:

Staff Management:

Supervise, schedule, train, and motivate kitchen support staff (stewards).

Hygiene & Safety:

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and BOH areas; enforce food safety (HACCP/Capon standards) and sanitation.

Operations:

Oversee dishwashing, garbage disposal, and general kitchen organization; coordinate with F&B for supplies.

Inventory & Supplies:

Manage kitchenware, dishware, and cleaning supplies; monitor stock rotation.

Equipment:

Ensure proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of kitchen equipment; recommend replacements.

Reporting:

Complete logs for food safety programs and report issues to management.
Required Skills & Qualities:

Strong leadership and communication. Attention to detail for hygiene and quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
