CROSSED HEARTS is a publishing house dedicated to adapting Korean webcomics and Japanese manga into English. We cater to graphic novel enthusiasts in English-speaking markets, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Indian subcontinent.
With over 20 series currently in the pipeline for launch by 2027, we are seeking a global partner to facilitate the digital and physical distribution of our titles, ensuring their presence in retail stores worldwide. Our inaugural collection is slated for a global release in the third quarter of 2025.

Role Overview:
As a
Korean Webtoon Translator
, you will be responsible for translating original Korean webcomics and graphic stories into high-quality, culturally nuanced English. Your work will ensure that the humor, tone, and emotional essence of the original content are preserved while making it engaging and relatable for English-speaking readers.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate Korean webtoon scripts and dialogues into natural, fluent English.
Collaborate with editors to maintain tone, style, and emotional intent of the source material.
Review and revise translations for linguistic accuracy and readability.
Conduct research on idioms, slang, and cultural references to ensure effective localization.
Work closely with the production team to meet tight publishing schedules and maintain consistent quality.
Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in the Korean language with
TOPIK Level 4 or higher certification
.
Excellent command of written and spoken English with strong grammar and cultural understanding.
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in
webtoon, manhwa, K-drama, or book translation
.
Background in
creative writing, literature, or localization
.
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
