LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU Your profile

• You should be having total 2 - 8 years of work experience into API Management with at least 2 years of experience in KONG API Management Tools and administration of KONG API Management Platform.
• Should have bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering with Computer Science/IT/Electronics or equivalent, MCA
• Expertise in KONG API management platform is a must.
• Should have strong knowledge on micro service architecture, decentralized APIs and API Testing.
• Should have expertise in maintaining and configuring secure KONG APIs converting monolithic APIs into micro services using KONG plugins effectively.
• Managing KONG API Platform
• Should have hands-on knowledge on AWS infrastructure setup.`
• Should have experience on LUA/JavaScript application programming.
• Should have good experience in Application Security (JWT, SSL, OAuth)

• Should have good understanding ofweb methodologies, REST Architecture, SOA, ESB, APIs, Web services, WSDL, OpenAPI, XML, JSON, EDIFACT, X.12, Flat file.
• Protocols – AS2, HTTP(S), SOAP,JDBC, JMS. Mail, (S)FTP, SAP Adapters – Idoc, RFC, XI.
• Good to have interface architectureknowledge with one or more on-premises/ SaaS packaged solutions for ERP, CRM,PLM systems (e.g., SAP, S/4 Hana, Salesforce, Teamcenter, Oracle etc.)
• You should have excellent communications and interpersonal skillsand an ability to help customers find the right solution (not the obvious/easyone).

Your responsibilities

• You will partner with other architects, vendors, partners,business, and technical teams to understand business needs and translate theminto capability/platform roadmaps and work toward realizing the roadmaps
• You will be working across ocean to support Siemens Energyinternal and external customers.
• You will Implement best practices/design patterns and continuouslycoach/mentor team members. Act as primary technical evangelist on behalf of APICatalogue and Management team for various API Design patterns involving KONGbased APIs.
• You will ensure adherence to defined guidelines, processes, andprocedures, while working within the work with development team to design andimplement innovative solutions with a focus on adhering to standards, bestpractices, and code quality techniques
• You will work to build and maintain effective working relationshipwith key technology team members. You will be supporting Global team in analystbriefings (Forrester, Gartner, IDC, etc.)
